[ While Tsumugi kept his phone close at hand, just in case Tsuzuru needed additional directions, it isn't until he hears his name that he properly looks up from his book. ]
Oh- hello, Tsuzuru-kun. [ He smiles, then shows him the cover of the particular book he was flipping through. ] I've been exchanging text messages with someone who knows alchemy, so I've become quite interested in herbs. There's a lot that I don't know about them, but I would like to try growing some myself come spring.
Is there anything in particular you're looking for? I might be able to help you find it.
Alchemy? That sounds pretty interesting. Are you going to start studying that soon? I just started to discover my own magic. That sounds like a good idea are you going to start a garden during spring? [Tsuzuru looked around at the different selections.] Hmm, maybe some cooking books? Since we don't have Omi I figured I should learn how to cook something. [Judging by the wrappers he found on his desk, he should probably slow down on the junk food.]
[ tsuzuru please, you're not itaru, please eat proper meals
At the mention of cookbooks, Tsumugi gestures for Tsuzuru to follow him to a different section of the store. He knows where those are! ]
I might study it a little for fun, but after I'm comfortable with the magic I already have. [ No need to put more on his plate than he needs to! ... he says, with his plate already full and then some. ] I'm more interested in how plants can be used than actually making potions.
And besides, [ He turns to Tsuzuru with a smile. ] if you start cooking again, I could grow the herbs for your food.
[ sakyo would be so proud of this penny-pinching tactic ]
[That's why he wants to slow down on the junk food. Since he doesn't have his usual breaks with his acting, checking on his brothers, and his jobs he ended up studying more and taking little breaks such as going outside of his room to walk or his familiar will poke him, until he gets up. However, during that time he remembered that Omi wasn't here so he would pick up something quick then go back to work. Now that he's hit a good place and his familiar was worried about him he decided that he should look into eating healthier again.
Tsuzuru followed Tsumugi as his familiar popped out of his hood to float over to Tsumugi.]
I think he likes you. [His familiar has good taste, of course.]
I would love to hear about the potion making process. Have you started yet?
[Tsuzuru returned the smile.]
It would be great having fresh herbs for my food. I hope you won't mind being the taste tester too.
[ Oh! Tsumugi lets Tsuzuru's familiar settle however he pleases, giving his head a little scritch once he's comfortable. ] I'm honored. [ familiar trust... very important... ]
I haven't had the opportunity to make potions, but I'll ask my friend about it. Honestly, I'm pretty curious myself.
[ And, as for the last bit. ] I'd be happy to be your taste tester, Tsuzuru-kun. I'm sure you're a wonderful chef.
